Venue

The Workshop will be held at the recreation center "Zvenigorodskii" of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The recreation center "Zvenigorodskii" is located nearby Zvenigorod city, in the picturesque region of the Moscow area, at the bank of the Moscow river.

Zvenigorod is one of the ancient cities of the Moscow area, whose history starts from ancient "vyatichi" - East Slavic tribe. Due to the unusual relief, the Zvenigorod's surroundings are called "small Switzerland". In Zvenigorod and its neighborhood there are located: ensamble of the Savvino-Storozhevskii monastry with the Nativity Cathedral (15th c.), the Dormition Cathedral "Na gorodke" (14th c.) with frescoes by Andrey Rublev and Daniil Chernyi, Sheremetev's country estates "Vvedenskoe" (18-19th c.), Olsufiev's estate "Ershovo" (19th c.), Gannibal's (Pushkin grandmather) estate "Zakharovo", and "Bolshie Vyazemu" with the Saviour-Transfiguration Cathedral (16th c.).

Accommodation

For accommodation of the HTS Workshop participants, the recreation center has double (1 bedroom) suits, a limited number of single suits and “Luxury” double suits. All suits have a lodge, and are equipped with a fridge, TV set, table, etc.  The “Luxury” double room suits have additionally a mini-kitchen.
